Most of us are fairly used to the Facebook 'like' button, where we can like a page on Facebook's website or click a like button on a website that has added it to one or all of their website's pages.
Google have recently introduced the '+1 button', which behaves in a similar way. When you search on Google, you may have noticed the +1 icon next to each result. This is a way of recommending websites, products and services that you want to share.
As with the Facebook like button, you can also add the +1 button to your own website so visitors can +1 you.
